Use my own (no charge)

Run the setup wizard on the machine. It walks you through the credential type you have (a Claude subscription — Pro / Max / Team / Enterprise — or an Anthropic API key):

You can also just run claude and follow the official sign-in flow: open the link, authorize, and paste the code the page gives you back into the terminal.

Sign-in happens on your machine and the official program writes the token there (in your encrypted home directory). We never receive or store it. The console’s Credentials page only shows status, type and expiry.

Buy Claude Pro

When creating a machine, pick Claude Pro (+$40 per 30 days) under Claude account:

• The first 30 days are deducted from your balance once the machine is created, then every 30 days; this is outside the monthly cap and charged while suspended too.
• After creation our staff sign the machine in with a platform account (usually within business hours); the official program writes the token directly on your machine.
• Destroying the machine does not refund the period already paid.
• Max 5x / Max 20x are shown on the pricing page only and can’t be selected at creation yet.

Caution

hangar auth forget claude deletes the credential file on the machine. On a machine with a purchased Pro account, contact us to sign it in again afterwards.
